VESDA™ (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus) is an extremely sensitive smoke detection system that draws ambient air into a highly sensitive optical device that detects extremely small particles of combustion. Programmable thresholds are used to trigger automatic fire responses in flame-sensitive yet critical areas such as archives and computer server rooms.
